Financial Aid & Costs

The cost of the program is substantially discounted compared to the cost of a typical summer session at Syracuse University. Tuition, housing, and meals for the six-week program are included in the comprehensive fee of $7,816 (pending review from the Board of Trustees in March 2017).

Determining Your Financial Aid Eligibility

Students who have received a financial aid award for the 2017-2018 academic year may be eligible for financial assistance for SummerStart as well. The amount of financial assistance you are eligible to receive for SummerStart is based on the financial aid award you received for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Grants: Students who have been awarded a Syracuse University Grant for the 2017-2018 academic year may be eligible for financial assistance for SummerStart. If you are eligible for grant funding for Summer Start, the maximum award is $6,900. College of Engineering and Computer Science
