What Are You Doing this Summer!

SummerStart welcomes international students to this six-week program for students enrolling in the fall 2013 term. The program begins July 1 and ends August 9, 2013. During this time, you can earn up to eight (8) credits toward your SU degree. Students take 6-7 credits in courses of their choice and a 1-credit seminar on college learning strategies and adjustment to college life.

As an International student, SummerStart will also help you to adjust to classroom expectations and residence hall life.

*An English as a second language course will be available to students who need to reinforce their English language skills.

What about weekends, you ask…There are many opportunities to socialize with not only SummerStart students but also with other International students who will be on campus. The gathering place for International students is the SLUTZKER CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL SERVICES, here you will find a welcoming place for many of your questions.
